Join your Sunrise community neighbors and friends on the Second Saturday of each month to support our unhoused friends.
Our Second Saturdays volunteers (including kiddos!) put in a couple of hours once a month to set up our staff and weekday volunteers for successful service.
With your time and effort, we'll be able to organize and prepare the Cafe, Clothing Closet , Mailroom, and Social Services HUB for our mission of services. Activities often include assembling hygiene & first aid kits, bagging pet food, sorting donations, cleaning and organizing our spaces, and making improvements to the building and grounds.
Second Saturdays are comprised of TWO shifts:

A Shift: 9:00am-11:00am
- B Shift: 11:30am-1:30pm
Some things to know in preparation for your shift:

We will spend our time indoors and/or outdoors, so please dress accordingly (tennis shoes, comfortable and seasonally-appropriate clothing, etc.)
- Please bring your own water bottles to stay hydrated!
