About
The program, Spring Fling, is an opportunity to engage students in a party atmosphere, like they may be experiencing over Spring Break, in order to raise awareness about alcohol safety and other issues that may arise over vacation.
Spring Fling will be taking place in the Connections Lounge of the Arkansas Union and, weather permitting, the two adjoining patios.
Students will be able to make their way throughout the event and play different carnival games using Drunk Busters “drunk goggles.” While experiencing how difficult easy games can be with added impairment, students will also be learning about other dangers of alcohol abuse and how to stay safe abroad.
Participants can win prizes like sunglasses and tank tops they can take with them to the beach as a reminder of what they learned.
University Housing will be hosting UAPD, as well as other professional staff versed in alcohol issues, for conversation and questions.
