Second Harvest Food Bank: Egg Grading & Food Sorting with PRSSA

Volunteers will assist in inspecting, sorting, and packing donated food and household products. These donations are received from grocery partners, food drives, and more. Typically, this involves working with nonperishable (shelf-stable dry and canned goods) items. Still, you may be asked to work with perishables (such as produce, bakery, or frozen meat items) when the need arises. Work may include assembling, lifting to 30 pounds, standing, bending, stooping, reading small print, and working in a high-speed environment.
