About
Welcome to the Housing & Food security Cohort run by the Center for Social Change and Community Involvement. This cohort is a great opportunity for Lewis & Clark College community members to engage in discourse around houselessness in Portland. Through this emerging program, we aim to create spaces for education and service around houselessness by fostering meaningful discussions, participating in volunteering efforts at Blanchet House, and engaging in community events addressing houselessness. The goal is to provide volunteers with the opportunity to connect with unhoused individuals, learn about the systemic issues behind houselessness, and actively contribute to ongoing efforts to improve the situation.
