Welcome to Film Club at GSU. A student organization focused on bringing together both filmmakers and fans of the cinematic medium. Our goal is to make this club one that you enjoy being a part of, as well as something that you have a part in making. We want all kinds of film students to join to make films, learn about films, and watch and discuss films. We will continue to improve from the last year and have many ways for you to get involved! We will have meetings every Friday either teaching or discussing different aspects of film through interactive activities, regularly host fundraising events, invite local filmmakers to provide workshops, discuss film in general, and let you make your own films. We'll also be organizing the 4th annual Uni-Fest Student Film Festival in Spring 2021, and you are welcome to help us create it, submit to it, and/or go to the festival! The intention of this group is to bring the students of GSU together and spark an interest in the cinema while also learning about the craft itself.
