| Description | Help harvest and package Apple Seeds produce to distribute to NWA youth! Food Donation volunteers are the driving force behind our Food Donation program. Each week, individuals or groups assist us in harvesting, washing, and packing hundreds of pounds of produce that is delivered to our school and community partners. Shifts are typically 3-4 hours long. Shifts usually occur in the mornings but can be adjusted due to weather and needs. Parking is available in the Gulley Park parking lot off of Old Wire Road. From there, it’s a short walk north to the gates of the Apple Seeds Teaching Farm. View a Google map of the parking lot and route to the farm here. |
