Description

Help harvest and package Apple Seeds produce to distribute to NWA youth!

Food Donation volunteers are the driving force behind our Food Donation program. Each week, individuals or groups assist us in harvesting veggies from our garden  teaching beds to then wash and pack hundreds of pounds of produce that is delivered to our elementary school and community partners.

Shifts are typically 2-3 hours long. You are not required to volunteer the whole shift- please come for however long you can! Shifts can be adjusted due to weather and needs.

Parking is available in the Gulley Park parking lot off of Old Wire Road. From there, it’s a short walk north to the gates of the Apple Seeds Teaching Farm. View a Google map of the parking lot and route to the farm here.

We recommend wearing clothes that can get dirty, bringing a refillable water bottle, and sunscreen.

Reach out to Bryauna (Volunteer Coordinator) with questions: volunteer@appleseedsnwa.org.
