My mom and I went to New Haven SDA Church and helped pass out produce to families in need. Because of covid we had to wear masks and everyone stayed in their cars in an assembly line. It was super cool to see the community come together in a time of need like this and everyone had smiles on their faces. Those who were giving were excited to give and those receiving were extremely grateful and appreciative. I hope to do it again soon!

My mom and I volunteered for Harvesters and helped unpackage and package food up to give to an assembly line of cars. There were so many cars lined up for hours with several families per car in need of groceries to feed them. It was a lot of fun and I plan to do it again soon!
