This event was for a STEAM led retreat overnight in Little Rock, AR. We presented to four groups of girls and showed them how Landscape Architects think about design and then proceeded to lead them through an exercise that allowed them to make their own parks. This event was super inspiring to lead due to the intelligence showcased through the girls we taught.

This was for Celena Sabillon's Research Survey. I was asked to fill out a form after looking at their website that is in development. The survey was to see how I felt about the website, which talked about and informed people on the voting process. I think it is a very interesting idea and made sure to give my honest opinions on what I thought about each part of it.
This is for the Path Interview Weekend 2024. Here I participated by checking in possible future Path Students. I simply gave them names tags and told them where they were supposed to be. It is always super fun and encouraging to help out with this event!
This was a very energetic and fast event. We were able to pack over 5,300 meals. I was on an assembly line where I measured out beans into the meal packages. I would honestly do this again!
I did Kayli Heigelmann’s survey over Internet Use and ADHD. I answered questions concerning my time online and how that might compare to the questions I answered over my focus in school. I may have even found new things out about myself…
I was in charge of the Photo Booth, where I kept it organized and helped anyone who needed it. I also stayed to clean up after helping wherever I was needed.
At Tri Cycle Farms I was able to help with lining the garden beds with wood chips before it became too dark. I then helped unpack Orchids that they plan to give out later. It was a fun experience!
I signed a petition a while back called “Protect Safe and Accessible Abortion”. I fully believe that all women have a right from the day they are born that it is their body, their choice. With this I believe that whatever they decide to do, should be accessible and safe. There comes a problem with this politically when it comes to having abortions. The Overturn of Roe vs. Wade has made the say in women’s medical lives that much harder for them and there is now a fight to gain back women’s rights to safe medical access. This petition talks about the struggles women’s healthcare is having without the access to Mifepristone which is a medication that allows for a safe alternative for women to have abortions. Without this medication women can suffer severe pain and even death. I signed this petition because I hear stories everyday of young women, scared women, older women, hurt women, poor women, mentally ill women, etc who are forced to have a child. I believe that any woman who addresses the need of not wanting a child, shouldn’t have a child. There are a lot of matters, whether public or not, that can lead to the child and mothers demise and as a human the woman deserves her peace, which should be safe access to medical supplies needed to keep that peace. I personally have seen someone close to me go through the process of an abortion. They were in a poor state of mind before finding out, and despite using all protection necessary they were still able to conceive a child. This led to a dark depression for them, due to the financial struggle they were in before, and the fact that they had a young child already. The abortion, a medicinal procedure, allowed for them to keep moving forward with life. Gave them hope for a more successful future, to then maybe have another child in. This is what proper support for women does, gives hope.
