We learned and walked around the UMES campus. We also participated in the engagement spring fest that they had. There was a carnival and I met a lot of new people.
I really liked the booklet we played to test the information that we learned. More games like that would be fun for future events/workshops.
I found a program where I can make letters / cards for the kids who are in hospitals. I thought it was nice so I joined and ended up making 15 cards within 3 hours for the kids.
I walked around the Stevenson campus and experienced many nice things. I learned about their nursing program and what they do which was very interesting . I also learned about how students live their life on campus like how independent they are and how they manage their schedules.
It was more of a welcome to the program. I learned many things about what the program offers and how it benefits us in many ways like academically and/or emotionally. I did arts and crafts, created a frame and decorated it and put a positive quote to remind myself everyday.
