I did this last year and really enjoyed it on the Frisco Trail! It was beautiful outside today so it was a great way for me to get outside but also clean up around Fayetteville. Definitely will do this again when I find time!
I live right by the trail so I thought this would be a good opportunity to get me outside! I did not realize how much trash I was going to find let alone alcohol or tobacco related. I was shocked but I got a good walk in while helping clean which was extremely rewarding!
Since I couldn't find the link I will give some insight as a member of the student advisory board! It is so important to take into consideration the thoughts of students and staff on campus. Some issues I have seen include resolving the problem of speeding on campus by adding additional speed check monitors or maybe even rumble strips. There is also a debate between if we need increased security or police officers on campus and interestingly, majority of students prefer the thought of security over police. Some other topics included, parking, lighting, and transit. Also, safe ride needs more advertisement!! I have heard of many students deterred from using safe ride because they are under the impression it is only for very serious emergencies or people under the influence, which shouldn't be the case. Overall, I have loved getting to share my thoughts and hear the experience of others in board meetings and I am sure this poll is just as insightful.
As a student who struggled to find housing next year, I cannot imagine how families in poverty may be struggling. Circles NWA seems like an amazing program and the presentation was eye opening. I will definitely be looking into their meal prep volunteer opportunities cause I love to cook!

Was a server for the Pi Phi Pazookie fundraiser! I served the tables outside from 5-6 and lived getting to witness how many people support Pi Phi and Children’s Literacy. It was stressful but lots of fun!
This combined my love for kids and baseball! It was so much fun and I would definitely do it again.
