40th Dr. Ronald E. McNair: Commemorative Celebration Luncheon (January 28, 2026)

My time at the Ronald E. McNair Luncheon was truly phenomenal. Volunteering at such a powerful and prestigious event was incredibly rewarding. I assisted with setting up tables and decorations, escorting guests, and even had the opportunity to stay and experience the entire luncheon. Through this event, I learned so much about Ronald E. McNair and the lasting impact he made on A&T, as well as the inspiring achievements of other students. His legacy is truly remarkable, and it was an honor to be part of an event that celebrates his life and contributions. I would be honored to volunteer for an event like this again in the future.

    2026 MLK Weekend of Service

Today, I attended a service workshop with Kera’s Closet and Campus Crocheters, and it was a very rewarding experience. We learned how to crochet beanies and wash clothes that will later be donated to those in need, which made the service feel meaningful.

Working with fellow Aggies was fun, and the Campus Crocheters were incredibly helpful and supportive throughout the workshop. They even let us keep the yarn so we could continue practicing and finish our projects. Overall, it was an enjoyable and impactful experience, and I would love to participate with them again in the future.

    2026 MLK Weekend of Service

During my service at Backpack Beginnings, I helped sort donated clothing, place items on hangers, and organize them on the family market floor so families could shop for clothes for themselves and their children. This experience was especially rewarding because it directly supported families in need and helped create a welcoming, dignified shopping environment. Seeing how our work made a difference reinforced the importance of community service. As always, it was fun and motivating to serve alongside my fellow Aggies, which made the experience even more meaningful.

Today’s service with Habitat for Humanity was a rewarding and meaningful experience. We assisted by moving wood planks and sheets, picking up trash around the houses, and continuing construction efforts. It was fulfilling to contribute to a project that directly supports the community while working toward a shared goal. I especially enjoyed collaborating with fellow Aggie students—it was a great opportunity to connect, network, and meet new people while making a positive impact.

After today’s service at the Aggie Farm, I had an incredibly rewarding experience. We worked together to pull weeds and clear mulch from the garden, which felt both productive and impactful. I truly enjoyed connecting with other Aggie students, especially those within my major, and building new relationships along the way. The environment was welcoming and motivating, making the entire experience both enjoyable and meaningful. I would love the opportunity to participate again very soon!

    Feral Cat Assistance Program

My time at FCAP is always amazing! Today, I had the opportunity to help volunteer at the monthly clinic once again. I was stationed at the female prep station. My task were to lubricate the cats eyes and notch the ears, as well as shaving and sterilizing their stomachs so they were ready for their spay surgery. It was another rewarding experience, and I truly enjoy my time when I am there. I can’t wait to attend again in February!
