July Mornings at the Farm

Join the PEAS Pod this July at our weekly volunteer workdays days to help the farm flourish! Some tasks you might expect to accomplish are watering, weeding, turning over the compost pile, spreading mulch, and other activities in the shade to get a break from the heat.

What to Expect:
Come prepared with the things you need for protection/to keep cool i.e. sunscreen, hat, water bottle, mosquito repellant, a light snack. We will have a water refill station available but cannot guarantee that snacks will be provided at every workday.
Wear closed-toed shoes! There are fire ants at the farm and they can be very sneaky.
A fun time to connect and tend to the farm, while working together in community. Come as you are, all ages, experience levels, and abilities are welcome! (Anyone under the age of 18 should be accompanied by an adult.)
