I had an enjoyable time with the kids because I gave them a deeper understanding of playing classical music and it allowed me to understand how they would learn and grow through my way of teaching.

Both volunteer activities for the Chinese Club of San Marino were memorable because I worked with friends to provide food and music during the many events. I also loved sharing my music with the kids at the Graduation Ceremony of Chinese School because it gave many of them, especially those who play instruments, a sense of inspiration for what they could do.

As a student in the music world, I have the privilege to perform and share my craft with the elderly who don't have the opportunity to experience live music very often. Not only does it provide joy for them, but it does for me because I get to share music with an audience, which motivates me to practice and receive fulfilling results.

It was an excellent activity to do during the summer by helping out Mrs. Anand. at the Huntington Middle School Library

Overall it was a great experience working with young kids and sharing music with them. By teaching and playing for them I think they got a chance to understand the beauty of the music world.

I have always loved classical music and music in general from a young age, and when I heard about this club, I wanted to spread music and love to others, including my peers, the elderly, and the less fortunate. Because of my recent event, a Fundraiser Concert towards Direct Relief and schools with underfunded arts education, I earned the role of Vice President for the LACHSA Branch of Love Through Music.
