I finished watching an interview I began last week and then I spoke with Jeni about EMDR and how it works and the functioning of the brain.

I Watched previous case interviews and talked to Debbee about the interview and the story behind the child involved.

I did some paperwork and watched an interview over a victim who used uncommon words to describe what had happened to them due to their lack of education despite the older age that they were.

I scanned files into the computer system from existing folders. I also watchEd a forensic interview for the first time and It was really eye opening. I really enjoyed getting to talk about observations I made during the interview with Debbie afterwards as well.

I read an article about incest and then I did helped put together intake paperwork folders for the parents. This included resources, paperwork and just general information about the Center.

Once arriving, I organized the storage closet that holds toys, clothing and other personal items for the children at the center. I ended up doing this the whole time!

I went in for my interview/tour of the center and completed paperwork and got to know a little more about what the Children's Safety Center offers and what I will be doing while I complete my volunteer hours.
