During my community service at Scott Joplin Elementary School, I helped prepare the building for the upcoming school year and opening day activities. My duties included rearranging furniture, moving boxes and supplies, and assisting with the preparation of bulletin boards. Participating in these activities allowed me to contribute to the school's readiness and help provide a welcoming atmosphere for returning students and staff. This experience reinforced the importance of community involvement, responsibility, and service. I appreciated the opportunity to support the school and contribute to a successful beginning of the academic year.

Tutoring students during summer school was a meaningful experience that taught me the importance of patience, leadership, and effective communication. I worked with students who needed additional academic assistance and helped them better understand their coursework. Through this experience, I learned that every student has a different learning style and that providing encouragement and individual attention can make a significant difference. This opportunity strengthened my ability to work with others and reinforced the value of helping students succeed academically.

This was a great experience to work with the men of Omega Psi Phi in mentoring the youth during a fishing outing and provide advise as a college student.
Great to give back to both the community by taking care of the environment.
