About
The mission of the Greenville Community Garden is to grow fresh, local food and to donate it to organizations that support those in need around Pitt County. The gardens are located just off the Tar River Greenway in the "grid" area near ECU. We are always in need of volunteers to help with weeding, watering, planting, and harvesting. Please join us and bring a friend to come help out. Dress appropriately for the weather and to get a little dirty. Bring gloves if you have them and a reusable water bottle. Volunteers can get their service hours approved and signed for by Chad Carwein, ECU Sustainability Manager. Contact Lekisha Pittman for additional information, to schedule a group outing, or if you have any questions in general: pittmanl19@ecu.edu.
