About

Thank you for choosing to participate in our virtual reading opportunity! Virtual reading allows volunteers to stay connected to Carpenter Art Garden students during a time where we are unable to host traditional programming. In order to participate, volunteers will need to select a children’s book to create a recording of. Participants will need to record a video of themselves reading the book, preferably with the camera facing the book laying flat, so that the words are easily visible. You can refer to the sample video for an example. We have a ton of books available to pick from in Aunt Lou’s, or you can choose your own. However, if you pick your own, we ask that you send the title and author to malicat@carpenterartgarden.org so that we can ensure that it aligns with CAG values. Videos can also be sent to this email address. If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out! We look forward to sharing your videos!
