About

Would you like to work amidst the blooming sunflowers. If you enjoy working outdoors and would enjoy helping us cultivate St. Phillip Garden of Peace and Community Farm, volunteers are needed as we are building an urban farm The Warnersville Heritage Community in Greensboro, NC. This urban farm is transforming an underutilized lot create outdoor environmentally friendly spaces, in-ground vegetable plots, herbal and flower gardens, pollinator areas, a children's garden and ADA-accessible raised garden beds to improve health conditions and to improve nutritional food access while promoting food justice and environmental justice.

We are building raised beds, moving soil around and playing in some dirt, building a greenhouse, planting seedlings and sowing seeds, making sure our vegetables are getting enough water and having a great time. The activities may vary from week-to-week as we are getting so much done due to our wonderful volunteers.

Please bring a refillable water bottle, wear appropriate clothing and shoes, sunscreen or a hat may be necessary as we are seeing warmer days. Children are encouraged to join us with an accompanying adult.

If you have any questions, please feel free to call or text Paula @336-404-2222, or Nathan @ 812-230-5399 or email us at letsbegufi@gmail.com

If the weather is drizzling that is usually okay, however you may want to check in to make sure we are still meeting. We will not be getting together during any thunderstorms.
