About

Help us protect and preserve the unique diversity at Mt. Sequoyah but helping remove invasive plants from this urban woodland.  The area we are focused on has been cleared of larger invasive shrubs and we will be doing some fine-tuning by removing smaller brush regrowth and vines that have moved into the cleared spaces.  This type of work is important to ensuring that the hard work previous volunteers have done is not lost to new opportunistic plant invaders!

Conditions will be wet due to the recent sleet and rain so please wear shoes that provide good traction and will keep your feet dry and protected.  Gloves, tools and training will be provided.

Looking forward to seeing you and thank you for your help!!
