About
Little Blazer Wishes is a program that anonymously provides gifts and support to UAB parenting students and their families who would otherwise struggle to fulfill their children's holiday wish lists. By supporting Little Blazer Wishes, you can relieve some of the stress and financial challenges our students with dependents face and help them enjoy a more festive holiday season. In 2021 we were able to sponsor 116 UAB students and their families, we hope to sponsor even more during the 2022 season.
Thank you so much for being a part of our Little Blazer Wishes program and sponsoring a family. In the list below we have shared with you information about each UAB Student and their families. For each family we have provided as much information as we can including children’s ages, gender, race/ethnicity, interests, clothing sizes, etc. If you have any questions about any of the children in your selection/s, please contact Meredith Kahl at mkahl@uab.edu.

Please note when you/your select a family you are responsible for all children listed within the family description. If you are interested and able we encourage you to purchase something for the UAB student as well. When purchasing gifts for your selected family there is a $200 limit per child and a $50 limit per UAB Student. This is a maximum limit, not the minimum.
If you are sponsoring a family as a group, we encourage you to look at the maximum amount per family to determine if you have the possibility of sponsoring more than one family.
Gift Delivery/Drop-Off
1. All gifts should be returned to Off Campus Student Lounge, Suite 140 in the Hill Student Center by Wednesday, November 30 by noon
2. Gifts should be placed in gift bags, not boxes, organized and labeled as Child 1, Child 2. UAB Student Parent, etc. with your family number on them
