About
Volunteer Trail workdays focus on maintaining 12+ miles of trails throughout the grounds by mulching, weeding, and removing invasive species. Gloves and tools will be provided, but please wear closed-toed shoes, long pants, and long-sleeved shirts (protection from thorns and poison ivy). PLEASE BRING WATER AND BUG SPRAY!
Park at the Meads Quarry main or overflow parking lot UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED UNDER YOUR CHOSEN SHIFT. QR Code will be given to receive free parking while you are volunteering - To make things quicker, please register your vehicle at https://app.metropolis.io/sign-in.
Those who are under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult for all volunteer opportunities. Those who are 16 and 17 can participate in public volunteer workdays as long as they have a parent's or guardian's permission. Please email volunteer@ijams.org for the permission sheet. Thank you!
