Come volunteer in the Big Orange Pantry and Smokey's Closet!
A volunteer shift with Basic Needs Initiatives includes welcoming patrons and guiding them through the experience with both the Big Orange Pantry and Smokey's Closet. Located in the Student Union 376C these initiatives insure that all students, faculty and staff have access to free food and hygiene items as well as professional clothing items. We are located in the Student Union, 3rd floor 376C.

* If you need to cancel please do so at least 12 hours before your shift on ServeUTK. Outside of that timeline please email us.
Volunteer duties include:
- Processing donations
- restocking shelves and organizing items
- online order fulfillment
- customer service and bagging patron's items
