VAC Earth Week Cleanup!

Wednesday, April 19th, 2023 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm (CT)
This has ended. If you attended, let the organizer know by recording your Impact!

About

As we know, trash flows downhill, and busy areas attract litter. You can help keep Town Branch, a tributary to Beaver Lake, clean by removing upstream litter BEFORE it gets to the waterway.  Your efforts won't just beautify the area, but will also help keep our drinking water clean.  This cleanup will focus on litter in Remote Lot 99 and the surrounding streets.

We will start with a brief orientation, then volunteers will spread out with cleanup supplies and will bring trash and recyclables back to the check in spot, where they will be sorted.  Our goal is to recycle 20% of what is collected!   All cleanup supplies will be provided; please wear comfortable shoes.
