About
shift_ed is looking for awesome students to serve as literacy tutors for the 2023/24 fall semester. Our tutoring locations are in Greensboro, High Point, and Jamestown. You can tutor between 2-20 hours per week and our hours run between 7am- 2pm. You do not need to be an Education major to serve as a tutor! We are beginning our hiring process right now, but we will begin training and tutoring hours in August/September 2023 when school resumes. Students are able to tutor for volunteer hours, community service time, course/internship credit, or as a federal work study job. Requirement Details
Students must be able to serve a minimum of 2 hours per week as a tutor. Students must have transportation to their assigned elementary school (with the exception of some schools such at Bennett College, High Point University, and other colleges that partner with an elementary school in walking distance).
