Williamson Creek Cleanup @ South Congress Ave Bridge

Join Keep Austin Beautiful at Williamson Creek to clean up litter from in and under the South Congress Ave Bridge and learn more about how you can protect your local creek at 10am on Wednesday, June 21st.

We will provide cleanup supplies and rubber boots on site as well as sunscreen and bug spray. We will meet near Wasson Rd, just off of S Congress Ave - look for the Keep Austin Beautiful signage and event table!

Please remember to wear close-toed shoes and durable clothing as the terrain may be rough in some areas. Conditions may be wet as we will be working along and within the creek when possible; please dress appropriately! Long pants and a hat are also recommended. Be sure to bring a full water bottle and stay hydrated. For volunteers with limited mobility, it is recommended to stay along main trails and pathways. Areas closer to the creek side may present an additional challenge.

When arriving at the location, please remember to hide any valuables and lock your car before checking in. Parking is streetside off of Wasson Rd. Carpooling is highly encouraged!
