About

Volunteers are needed for the Trail Work Days held on the 2nd Saturday of the month from 8:00am to 12:00pm.  Registration will be at 8:00am in the Picnic Area at 900 Kennesaw Mountain Drive. Parking will be in the field near the Visitor's Center with temporary parking passes issued at registration.  You may pre-register for the event on the KSU Give Pulse site.
All volunteers are required to turn in completed Volunteer Service Agreements. Minors (under 18) MUST have a parent or legal guardian's signature.  PLEASE, no exceptions!

Volunteers are assigned to crews with trained crew leaders.  Water, work gloves and tools are provided.  Work can be quite strenuous and involves hiking to the work site.  Volunteers should wear sturdy closed toed shoes and work clothes and are encouraged to bring their own water, snacks and work gloves.

At Kennesaw Mountain NBP, we have very little trash so our work is to assist in maintaining the trails in good working order.  The work can be physically demanding and may include moving rocks, dirt and trees for erosion control.  We may also build steps, reroute trails and cut underbrush etc.

CANCELLATIONS DUE TO WEATHER (or other reasons) WILL BE POSTED ON THE TRAIL CLUB WEBSITE AT
www.kennesawmountaintrailclub.org.
