Join your fellow park lovers as we give back at Dougherty Arts Center! We'll spend the day weeding the flower beds and building a new raised garden bed at the arts center. Volunteers get the satisfaction of giving back and of course, an AWESOME It's My Park Day t-shirt designed by local artists! We will provide tools and gloves but PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN WATER BOTTLE and wear work appropriate clothing. We'll meet at 1110 Barton Springs Rd and get started right at 10am. Parking Details
The Dougherty Arts Center shares parking with the Alliance Childrens Garden and Butler Park, so parking can be limited on weekends. Parking permits for this lot will be available for pickup at sign in.
There is additional street parking along Dawson Rd and Lee Barton Dr, as well as paid garage parking at the Palmer Events Center and the One Texas Center Parking Garage within walking distance. The Dougherty Arts Center cannot provide parking validation or permits other than for the lot directly attached to the center itself. Please call 512-974-4000 if you have any parking questions!
