About
Thanks to Austin Parks Foundation, it’s that time of year again! Join South Austin Creek Alliance as our creek calls on us to help remove trash and debris from the creek bed and riparian space that surrounds it! It may be trash or it may be treasure, but every little piece of trash we pick up saves it from making its way to Onion Creek, Colorado River, or even the Gulf of Mexico! We want to protect our animal and plant friends and we would love for you to join us! Please be prepared to wear rugged footwear (no sandals), preferably long pants for overgrowth, and a hat. BRING WATERBOTTLES, although coffee and light morning nibbles will be provided. We will supply the tools, just bring your happy faces and helping hands!
Volunteers get the satisfaction of giving back and of course, an AWESOME It's My Park Day t-shirt designed by local artists!
We'll meet at 6310/6311 Brush Country Rd right next to the bridge over Williamson Creek. We will start promptly at 9:00. Thank you so much for joining us on It's My Park Day!
