It's My Park Day Fall at Cook School Park!

Join your neighbors, classmates and friends as we gather to enjoy and care for Cook School Park! Volunteers get the satisfaction of giving back and of course, an AWESOME It's My Park Day t-shirt designed by local artists! We will provide drinks, snacks, art supplies, tools and gloves but PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN WATER BOTTLE.

We'll meet at the soccer fields at 9 AM for coffee, snacks, chatting and an orientation for the day. There will be rock painting activities for kids as well as an opportunity to pick up trash throughout the park and provide some essential care to the trees by adding mulch, checking the tree root to ensure the flare is exposed, digging up weeds & grass around base of each tree and leveling soil around trees to provide a water basin for roots.
