Pathways | Volunteer Management Collab 10/09/24

::TLDR::  🥳 We’re launching Pathways on Wednesday 10/09/24 to bring best practices & peer learning to you in a 45 minute session with your favorite sister charities & volunteer managers over a Google Meet. No wasted time driving & parking. We’re starting at 12:05pm, so you’ve even got a few minutes to grab your lunch from the fridge & log in. We’ll wrap up by 12:50pm with time to breathe before that 1PM All-Staff Call.

We’re so excited for this. We have been talking to many of our nonprofit partners about how we can help you, professionally & personally, in more meaningful ways. The answer we knew was coming - you wear so many hats that you can’t even think about it! Many added that you just don’t have enough time to get to all your priorities, much less invest in yourself. It would be really fun to be able to meet in person for a training & spend an afternoon getting to know other nonprofit professionals. The truth is you don’t have time for that. So… Pathways is our test case to see if we can learn & connect in a fast-paced format that everyone can join.

This is an open invitation to anyone in your organization that wants to collaborate on how to elevate & promote volunteerism in Memphis. We are not limited to certain roles or hierarchy in an organization. The more, the merrier! Volunteer Odyssey will have some quick tips on volunteer management best practices, then we want to hear from YOU! 

• What have you discovered that saves you a bunch of time? We want you to share that.

• What are you really frustrated with in your role? It's a safe space to share that, too.

• What’s something you’re curious about in the nonprofit world? Someone "in the room" is bound to know.

• What would make your job easier? What additional support could make you more successful? How do you want to grow where you are? Let's get all these smart brains thinking about this for just a few minutes.
