About
Blazer Thrift's Shop Day will be Friday, November 22nd from 10am to 3pm at the lower Blazer Residence Life Center (RLC), located beside the Commons fountain. All donated items from our tabling events will be displayed on Shop Day for participants to shop for. We need volunteers to help with different tasks throughout the day: setting up clothes, checking-out shoppers, and packing everything away.
Volunteer bonus: For every shift you volunteer for, you can shop for one item during the Shop Day on Friday, November 22nd!

What is Blazer Thrift?
Blazer Thrift is a bi-annual event held every semester at UAB. It is typically in collaboration with the USGA and Green Initiative. It is an opportunity to make sustainable fashion accessible to all students. Any left over items from the event will be donated to local shelters like the Jimmie Hale Mission.
How does it work?
For every item you donate during our tabling dates, you can shop for one item during our Shop Day in November. Our volunteers will keep track of how many items you donate and will let you know how many items you're eligible to shop for on Shop Day.
What organizations are planning this event?
Green Initiative, Undergraduate Student Government Association (USGA), and UAB Sustainability!

The Shop Day is scheduled for Friday, November 22nd from 10am-3pm at the lower Blazer Residence Life Center (RLC), beside the Commons fountain.
