About

Invasive plant species threaten the native plants that feed and shelter our local wildlife. Overton Park's Old Forest has dozens of non-native invasive species, and Overton Park Conservancy relies on volunteers to help us remove them. During this project, you'll join an invasive plant crew working to remove plants such as English ivy, Chinese privet, and Japanese honeysuckle.

Meeting Location: East Parkway Pavilion, 389 E. Parkway N., Memphis TN 38112

Dress appropriately and wear closed-toed shoes. Bring work gloves and hydration.

By participating in this volunteer event, you agree to the terms of Overton Park Conservancy's waiver and release agreement.
