Volunteer at Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity

Mission Statement:

Seeking to put God’s love into action, Cape Fear Habitat brings people together to build homes, communities and hope. Our vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live.

Raising Walls. Raising Spirits.

Imagine working alongside a family as they build the house that will become their home. Imagine raising a wall that will become the kitchen where a family cooks their meals. Imagine offering a helping hand as a family recovers from a natural disaster. Imagine giving back to your community alongside your friends and coworkers.

At Habitat for Humanity, we believe everyone deserves a safe and affordable place to call home. Through volunteer efforts, we build, repair, and revitalize homes, empowering families and strengthening communities.

What We Do:

• New Construction: Help build homes from the ground up alongside future homeowners.
  • Wednesday-Saturday

• Critical Home Repairs: Assist in improving existing homes through critical repairs and accessibility modifications.
  • Tuesday-Thursday

• Deconstruction: Salvage reusable materials from homes and businesses, reducing waste and supporting sustainability.
  • As needed

• ReStores: Support Habitat’s mission by helping at our nonprofit home improvement stores that fund local projects.
  • Monday-Saturday

No Experience? No Problem!
All skill levels are welcome, and we provide training on-site. Whether you're a first-time volunteer or a seasoned builder, your time and effort make a difference!

Volunteers must be 16+ to work on a construction site and 18+ to help in the ReStores
