Armadillo Park - Mulching and Planting

As always, we have a variety of things to do in our favorite little park!

One project is to prepare the area around the park sign for planting low-growing plants next spring.  This involves placing cardboard around the area and covering it with mulch.  Over the winter, the cardboard will disintegrate and combined with the mulch, will create a good environment for new plants.  

The other project is to plant some more Inland Sea Oats near the front of the park.  There's a nice stand of them already and we want to expand it.

We also could use help in clearing out unwanted vegetation - especially the non-native plant species.  In addition, we have two flower beds to mulch as well as many trees in the park.

As you can see, there is something for everyone!
