IMPD at Ponciana Park with Friends!

Join your fellow park lovers as we give back at Park! Volunteers get the satisfaction of giving back and of course, an AWESOME It's My Park Day t-shirt designed by local artists! We will be caring for and mulching our trees on the SW side of the park. We will provide tools and gloves but PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN WATER BOTTLE and wear work appropriate clothing. We'll meet at the Pavilion  for a quick intro and demonstration and get started right at 9am. Thank you so much for joining us on It's My Park Day!

We are getting so excited to see everyone on November 1st! We will be not only caring for our trees, so they can give us shade and enjoyment for years to come, but we will also be painting some landscape rocks to add to the park to give it some color and beauty. 

Austin Parks and Recreation will also be joining us with some family friendly activities, such as a touch table with animal furs and bones for both kids and adults to explore, as well as a fun fishing game for children.

Los voluntarios obtienen la satisfacción de retribuir y, por supuesto, ¡una INCREÍBLE camiseta de It's My Park Day diseñada por artistas locales! Cuidaremos y trituraremos nuestros árboles en el lado suroeste del parque. Proporcionaremos herramientas y guantes, pero POR FAVOR TRAIGA SU PROPIA BOTELLA DE AGUA y use ropa de trabajo apropiada. ¡Estamos muy emocionados de verlos a todos el 1 de noviembre! No solo cuidaremos nuestros árboles para que nos den sombra y disfruten durante años, sino que también pintaremos algunas rocas ornamentales para añadirlas al parque y darle color y belleza. El Departamento de Parques y Recreación de Austin también nos acompañará con actividades para toda la familia, como una mesa táctil con pieles y huesos de animales para que niños y adultos exploren, así como un divertido juego de pesca para niños.
