Serve 205 - Reduced Inequality - Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Birmingham

Volunteers will assist in cleaning and organizing the main office to ensure a welcoming and efficient space for matches, staff, and visitors. This may include, but is not limited to, organizing board games, sorting books and activity supplies, tidying storage areas, wiping down surfaces, and assisting with general office upkeep. This opportunity is a great way to support the mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters by helping create an inviting environment where Bigs and Littles can connect and thrive. Additionally, volunteers may aid in organizing for a recent grant designated for career exploration. Closed-toed shoes and comfortable clothing are recommended!

Uber Transportation

Uber rides are offered to and from campus for Serve205 events on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The Uber pick up/drop off location is the HSC bookstore lot. You must be over the age of 19 to ride in the Uber. Please click the link below if you need an Uber ride preferably 1 week before the service event. Once you fill out the form you will receive a phone call from Anrika Steen 205-659-4987. She is the Uber Coordinator and must have a verbal confirmation from you will be riding in the Uber.
