About
Join us on this special day as we celebrate the new naming of the Pleasant Hill Creek and give it a much-needed clean! This little tributary in South Austin crosses under Circle S Road and meanders behind The Little Darlin' before it finally reaches Williamson Creek.
SACA Board Member, Rich Maness, did the work to get this little urban waterway a name, and now we need to help protect it by showing it the love it deserves!
We will meet in the parking lot behind The Little Darlin' on Saturday, September 27th at 9am. We will start with a safety talk and then make our way into the creek for the clean-up. Please be prepared by wearing long pants and sturdy, closed-toe shoes (no sandals). Sun screen and bug spray are highly recommended. Poison Ivy is in the area, so it may be beneficial to wear long sleeves as well. And while we will be next to The Little Darlin' we recommend you bring your own water bottle to use for the duration of the clean-up.
We will wrap-up the clean-up at 11am. Following that, we welcome everyone to join us for a hang out with our friends at The Little Darlin' for drinks and food!
Please complete liability waivers.
