Cleanup at Shelby Farms - Hoop House Revitalization

Help is needed to beautify a specific area of Shelby Farms. We will be instrumental in the revitalization of our Hoop House (the old greenhouse). This is a priority project for the park, as the area is being transformed into the primary seating area for their new food truck pod and will be a featured spot for the Greenline celebration in October.

To prepare the space, our work for the day will focus on:

• Removing overgrown bushes and weeds

• Disassembling and clearing old garden beds

• Leveling dirt to prepare the foundation

This project has tasks suitable for all ages and abilities, ensuring everyone can contribute in a meaningful way. Shelby Farms Park will provide all necessary tools and water. We have a supply of adult-sized gloves. (kid-sized gloves availability TBD).
