Public Square Workshop: Stories That Shape Tomorrow

Join us for a Center for Civic Engagement (CCE) Public Square on the Heart & Soul project that collects stories about Pullman.

As part of the Pullman 2040 planning project, Heart & Soul's mission is to engage and empower communities to reflect on their values, aspirations, and what makes them unique. The program ultimately guides the community towards developing a shared vision for the future. It emphasizes inclusivity and strives to involve a diverse range of voices, ensuring that everyone’s perspective is heard and valued. Community Heart and Soul helps foster stronger, more resilient, and connected communities that are better equipped to face future challenges by centering the program around community input and action. Community Heart and Soul is building on the momentum of the Pullman 2040 initiative.

CCE's Public Square program aims to connect WSU students, employees and community members through discussion on important issues that affect our community.  The moderated discussion will focus on what WSU is doing to reduce food waste and facilitate food recovery.

All CCE Public Square events are free and open to the public. Everyone is welcome to share their thoughts on the discussion topic in a respectful way, as time allows.

As with all Public Square discussions, we want to hear from you--this workshop only works with the interactive participation of audience members--so come with questions!
