Rake A Difference Day

Join us for "Rake A Difference Day" on College Hill. This event is in partnership with the College Hill Association and the College Hill Matters committee. This event welcomes all neighbors (all residents + Greek row neighbors) to come together, help rake leaves, and prepare yards for the City of Pullman's leaf pick-up service. 

Important Details:

1. Meet at Ruby Street Park at 12:45pm and check-out your rake & work gloves. Bring your Cougar Card/Student ID.
2. Hot cocoa and snacks will be provided (first come first serve).
3. Rake leaves on the sidewalks, in your yard, and in your neighbors' yards (with permission) to the street close to the curb. Leave the storm drains open and clear to avoid flooding.
4. The Panhellenic Council has confirmed that they will be gifting a pizza/Lotus/Red Bull party to the Panhellenic chapter with the most participants for this event.
5. Wear warm clothing appropriate for the weather and close toed shoes.

Raking and properly removing leaves prevents them from clogging storm drains, which can lead to street flooding and water drainage issues that affect the entire neighborhood. It also helps maintain healthy lawns and public spaces by preventing leaf piles from smothering grass and creating slippery hazards on sidewalks.
