About

Pleasant Hill Creek had it's first clean-up in September, but we're headed back this month for more!  Once again, Pleasant Hill Creek is in need of more care and a clean! This little tributary in South Austin crosses under Circle S Road and meanders behind The Little Darlin' before it finally reaches Williamson Creek.

SACA Board Member, Rich Maness, did the work to get this little urban waterway a name, and now we need to help protect it by showing it the love it deserves!

We will meet in the parking lot behind The Little Darlin' on Saturday, November 22nd at 9am. We will start with a safety talk and then make our way into the creek for the clean-up. Please be prepared by wearing long pants and sturdy, closed-toe shoes (no sandals). Sun screen and bug spray are highly recommended. Poison Ivy is in the area, so it may be beneficial to wear long sleeves as well. And while we will be next to The Little Darlin' we recommend you bring your own water bottle to use for the duration of the clean-up. Children 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

We will wrap-up the clean-up at 11am. Following that, we welcome everyone to join us for a hang out with our friends at The Little Darlin' for drinks and food!
