🛍️ SeniorPak Bag Fill: Help Feed Local Seniors!

Each month, hundreds of seniors in our community face tough choices — between groceries, medication, or paying the bills. Through our SeniorPak Program and Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), Community Harvest provides nutritious groceries to help ease that burden.

Join us for a SeniorPak Bag Fill to help assemble grocery bags filled with pantry staples, canned goods, and fresh items for local seniors in need. These bags are distributed monthly to both mobile seniors and those who are homebound — and every bag you help fill makes a real difference!

This is a fun, team-oriented volunteer opportunity — perfect for individuals, small groups, or workplaces looking to give back in just a couple of hours.

What to Expect

• Light to moderate lifting (most bags under 10 lbs)

• A friendly, social environment with upbeat music

• Tasks may include sorting and packing food items

• Closed-toe shoes required

• Dress comfortably — warehouse temperatures can vary

Why It Matters

The SeniorPak Program provides monthly food support to seniors living on fixed or limited incomes, ensuring no one has to choose between nutrition and other essentials. Together with CSFP (a USDA-supported program), we’re making sure northeast Indiana’s seniors are nourished, respected, and remembered. ❤️
