Mulch-ual Aid at Boggy Creek Greenbelt with Altogether Chestnut!

Join with Altogether Chestnut, other neighbors, and your local City of Austin Tree Ambassador™️ as we show some love to our beloved trees along the Boggy Creek Greenbelt! 

Spend your Saturday morning getting to know your human neighbors as well as the tree neighbors you walk, bike, run, play, or relax amongst in this beautiful stretch of the park.

We'll enjoy iced coffee from Bennu and some tacos from Mi Madre's, then spend time mulching several of the younger trees, do some trash cleanup, and learn a bit more about the various kinds of trees that live along this part of the Creek.

Participants will get the satisfaction of working alongside neighbors to build resilience within both our tree and human communities, AS WELL AS receive an awesome It's My Park Day t-shirt!

Please bring plenty of water and wear outdoor-appropriate clothing
(ie: closed-toed shoes are a good idea!)

Tools will be provided!

There is something for everyone - KIDS welcome! 

We will circle up at 9am near the bathrooms across from 1011 Nile St along the Boggy Creek Greenbelt. Look for the IMPD signs!
