About
The Society of Women Engineers is excited to host the 17th annual Kids’ Science and Engineering Day! This year, KSED will take place on Saturday, March 28th, 2026, from 10:00 am-3:00 pm, in Sloan and Dana Hall.
KSED offers students in grades K-5 the opportunity to learn basic science and engineering principles through fun, hands-on activities. SWE needs volunteers to help set-up, organize, and interact with the students at the SWE booth from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm! As a SWE volunteer, you will be provided a FREE T-shirt (sizes are limited and distributed on first-come-first-serve basis).
We have volunteer opportunities in a variety of areas including registration, set-up/clean-up, volunteer check-in, hosting the SWE activity booth, hosting an activity booth with your club and more! Some opportunities will occur before KSED if you are not available on weekends. If you have any questions about volunteering, please email rylee.gannon@wsu.edu.
***Training will occur at Pre-KSED XX, from XX in XX (will be updated). Note that volunteers for this event are required to complete SWE National's training that will be offered at Pre-KSED, or emailed to volunteers that are unable to attend.
