Shoal Creek Cleanup - Austin Proper Hotel

Austin Proper cares about our environment and the local communities we call home. As a sign of our commitment, and in alignment with the Proper Giving initiative, we have partnered with Keep Austin Beautiful to participate in their Adopt-A-Creek program.

This event will take place Monday, September 21st from 10:00am-12:00pm, with a focus on litter clean-up. We will meet on The Peacock's restaurant patio and please arrive at least 10 minutes early to the event to review safety information. Tools, sunscreen, and bug spray will be provided. We encourage everyone to bring a pair of their own heavy duty gloves, and to wear outdoor/exercise clothes that are comfortable and breathable for the hot weather. Please bring a water bottle to stay hydrated before and during the event!

This will be a PAID event for Austin Proper Hotel colleagues. Proper Colleagues, please coordinate your schedule with your manager if you would like to attend.

This event is for adults only, ages 18 and up. 

What to bring: Closed toe shoes, a FULL water bottle, and comfortable clothing. We will provide all tools and neoprene gloves - if you have your own gardening or work gloves or a preferred brand of bug spray you are invited to bring them. 

Pet Policy: For safety and liability reasons, pets are not permitted at volunteer events. Service animals are welcome.
