About

Come on out to Red Bluff Nature Preserve in east Austin to help rewild a former dumping ground into a healthy forest ecosystem for wildlife!  Our work is making a big difference already.

We will be working in dappled shade and there will be three tasks to select from:

  1. planting wildflower & grass seeds
  2. removing construction trash
  3. assembling two water tanks

What to bring: Closed toe shoes, a FULL water bottle, and comfortable clothing (long pants suggested). We will provide all tools and gloves - if you have your own gardening or work gloves or a preferred brand of bug spray you are invited to bring them.

Where to park: Along Terry Dr and Tura Ln

Where we will begin: Next door to 5609 Tura Ln, Austin, TX 78721

Youth Volunteers: All volunteers under the age of 18 must be registered by a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian must register and attend with the youth volunteer. Independent registrations submitted by minors are not permitted.

Pet Policy: For safety and liability reasons, pets are not permitted at volunteer events. Service animals are welcome.

A NOTE ON SAFETY: We encourage you to “See and Be Seen!” Be mindful of your fellow volunteers and maintain awareness of your surroundings at all times. Dial 911 in case of emergency.
