I learned not only the importance of voting but the logistics that surround voting as a young person. I enjoyed the format and the varying member who contributed to the conversation.

This Public Square discussion was very interesting to hear. I loved how they took so many questions from people in the audience and answered them very clearly and in a way that was easy to understand. It was very informative and answered some questions that I personally had.

Voter suppression is something that wasn't on my radar before this discussion. Now after the discussion I realize that there are many types of voter suppression that aim to stop people from voting and or deliver a false narrative of a party's political views. I will definitely be voting but I don't consider myself a person that is into politics. But with that being said I like to stay informed and plan to make an informed decision based on what I know about the candidates.

I loved hearing about all the ways that voter suppression can be combatted in this election. I was particularly interested in learning about the electoral college and why it's still so important for each individual to vote even when in a primarily blue or red state.
