Scholarship Night #2: The Empowered Mindset

Tuesday, November 10th, 2020 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm (ET)
Omonse Okojie

Attending the Scholarship Night #2 which focused on mental health and we could strive for it positively through an empowered mindset was a very informative and phenomenal experience. I gained more insight of how I can strategize to manage my psychological, emotional, and social well-being. Adding on, I now know and will begin to use these vital pointers to overcome the "reasons why" the world gives.

I thought it was really fun. Amazing speakers, and I hope there'll be another one later this year. I honestly wasn't feeling good today, but that Scholarship Night me feel so much better. I'm glad I went, and I'm glad I had fun.

This was a comforting and empowering experience. It felt good to discuss my feelings during this pandemic with other students. I definitely left with words that made a mark. I loved the speaker's enthusiasm and I felt like he genuinely cared about our mental health. I hope to see him speak again!
