My appointment was around 1pm and first they checked my hemoglobin and blood pressure to make sure everything was healthy enough to donate blood then they transferred me to one of the beds and pricked me . The pumping process only took about 5-7 minutes and during that time we talked about different health facts and who was eligible for giving blood.
